Ulla Hudson, Reitlehrer, German F.N. Trainer "A" is the owner of Windsong Icelandics

Ulla Hudson is a native of Germany with a lifetime of experience in the world of dressage. Ulla has both the USDF Gold Medal and the German Gold Medal in dressage. She is an FEI qualified rider and instructor . She was trained as a riding instructor by the German National Federation.
Ulla has trained many horses, including the famous Westphalian stallion, Widor. Widor was named a Horse of the Year by the United States Dressage Federation. Ulla has been working with Icelandic horses since she was five years old, and introduced them to New Mexico in 1985.
Ulla trains at her farm near Albuquerque, in South Santa Fe County, and teaches throughout New Mexico. Each year she organizes clinics and teaches students from around the world, at all levels from beginner to experienced. Ulla Hudson's accomplishments are well known, and recognized nationally. The United States Dressage Federation has invited her to appear as a demonstration rider for their annual instructional symposium. When not training horses or “people”, Ulla uses her many international contacts to help clients select, and import horses, from Germany and Iceland.
She is married to Patrick Hudson MD, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and Existential Depth Psychotherapist.
